Government of India bans 43 more mobile apps, including Snack Video, see full list

The government also banned 43 mobile apps. The government appears to have taken such a decision on allegations that it was affecting the security and integrity of the country. The government has taken this action under Section 4A of the IT Act. According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

This is not the first time the central government has banned mobile apps. Earlier, in June 2020, the central government banned 58 mobile4 apps. Since then, the central government has cracked down on a total of 18 Chinese AAPs, including a ban on 114 AAPs in September. All of these apps have been reported by the Indian government as a threat to India's security and integrity.

ପୁଣି ୪୩ ମୋବାଇଲ୍‌ ଆପ୍‌ ବ୍ୟାନ୍‌ କଲେ ସରକାର। ଦେଶର ସୁରକ୍ଷା, ଅଖଣ୍ଡତା ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଭାବ ପକାଉଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ସରକାର ଏଭଳି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ଆଇଟି ଆକ୍ଟ ଧାରା ୬୯ଏ ଜରିଆରେ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି ସରକାର। ତେବେ ଏନେଇ ଇଲେକଟ୍ରୋନିକ୍ସ ଓ ସୂଚନା ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତିବିଦ୍ୟା ମନ୍ତ୍ରାଳୟ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି।

ଏହା ପ୍ରଥମ ନୁହେଁ ଯେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ମୋବାଇଲ୍‌ ଆପ୍‌ ବ୍ୟାନ୍‌ କରିଛନ୍ତ। ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଜୁନ ୨୦୨୦ରେ ୫୯ ମୋବାଇଲ୍‌ ଆପ୍ ବ୍ୟାନ୍‌ କରିଥିଲେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର। ଏହାପରେ ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବରରେ ୧୧୮ ଆପ୍‌ ବ୍ୟାନ୍‌ ସହ ମୋଟ ୧୭୭ ଚୀନ ଆପ୍‌ ଉପରେ ଅଙ୍କୁଶ ଲଗାଇସାରିଛନ୍ତି କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର। ଏ ସମସ୍ତ ଆପ୍‌ ଭାରତର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ଅଖଣ୍ଡତା ଉପରେ ବିପଦ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁଥିବା ନେଇ ଭାରତ ସରକାର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଥିଲା।
